I never...To all who enquired about chestnut flour:<br /><br />I never seen it in New Zealand, and Emma, if the one that you got was rancid it is because chestnut flour only lasts about 6 month, then it starts to go off (some packed varieties have a longer shelf life). <br /><br />I usually take home about 500g in my suitcase, I would take more but in the end there are so many things that I would like to take...<br /><br />It would be great if an importer could get it, I think it is a great product for gluten free recipes, not only Italian recipes.<br /><br />@ Saretta, ecco, hai ragione ci stanno bene anche i pinoli!!! Artu', a dire la verita' io vado a occhio con i tempi di cottura e le dosi semplicemente perche' questa farina puo' essere piu' o meno umida/grumosa/secca... dipende davvero dal tipo, dall'essicazione delle castagne (si dice cosi'?) e dalla conservazione della farina stessa. Ma tu hai il forno a legna?
