Maori Organic Wananga

I am attending:

From Rueben in Ahipara:

Tena koutou,e nga reo, e nga mana, e nga karangarangamaha, tena koutou katoa.

Recently Taitokerau Organics Inc promoted and discussed the benefits of bringing the organic movement of good quality food to the tables of Aotearoa, at a hui in Ahipara held in December 2008.

Taitokerau Organics Inc are now proud to host Te Waka Kai Ora (TWKO), the national maori authority for the organic industry of New Zealand, again in Ahipara, Te Hiku O Te Ika from the 5th - 7th June 2009.
Te Waka Kai Ora is the national maori representative body that is a part of Organic Aotearoa NZ (OANZ), the national organic authority for support of the organic industry.

We have a 3 day wananga in Ahipara Northland, where we will be addressing the need to support maori and the certification of their goods and services that they produce, among many other issues on the agenda. This hui will also be part of a maori land tv series, and a documentary, to be showcased in 2010.

We as hosts are determined to purchase local organic produce. Should you have a particular product you would like to showcase, we would be happy to purchase from your growers.
We would also like to extend an invitation to the you personally to attend our wananga.

No reira ka mihi nui kia koutou awhina o tenei kaupapa, ka whakatika a tatou ora.
mauriora
