Walnuts in black and white

We saw these big bags of walnuts in a supermarket in Feltre, walnuts are common here, there is even a noce feltrina (Feltre walnut). I don't think that these were the Feltre ones, but they were local, and we bough a few just to have after dinner.

And today's photo for Black and White Wednesday, organized by Susan of The Well-Seasoned Cook, is entitled: walnuts!

  6. Love the way that the black and white photographs makes the knobbly texture of the walnuts stand out more. Am on a walnut kick right now so very jealous to see so many bags!

  11. Those open, cuffed-down sacks are so inviting. Eye appeal is everything in merchandising. Walnut are a wonderful choice for B/W. Thank you, Alessandra, for joining in BWW.
