Yummy green smoothies and first produce from the garden

I am addicted to my new Nutribullet, here three of my favourite smoothies so far:

Baby spinach, kiwi, coconut water

Celery (add a few leaves), frozen mango cubes, coconut water

Baby cavolo nero, banana, spirulina and natural apple juice

And here are the first goodies from the veggie garden: strawberries, rocket salad, pan choi and radishes. The baby cavolo nero in the last smoothie was also from my garden but I blended it before taking a photo. More photos coming up soon :-).

  1. Last Thursday I saw a girl on the tube having a juice from a mug just like the ones thak come with those kind of juicers, I must confess I was put off by the vivid green color, but now that I saw what it could be made off I am much more interested.

  3. Sometime people associate green with something bad to eat, (even if all the colours here are natural, and it is healthy) while they should cringe at drinks with colours like Coca Cola!

After a while I am sure that you will get used to the colour green and associate it with something both good and tasty, otherwise just add some blackberries with your greens and the colour will be more like purple :-). More juice ideas coming up!
