  1. It seems that there are community garden anywhere now, even in Tuakau one I could see there is a community garden at school. I am so glad that we live in a spacious area where my children can do so much gardening and learn and watch nature as close as they can.

  2. For the future I hope for more communal gardens, more school gardens, more farmers markets...and more Slow Food convivia. :-)

  3. Hi, For those of you who live in West Auckland and like the idea of Farmer's markets and fresh produce, there is going to be a Friday Twighlight market starting on December 6th at 474 Swanson Road. Organised by Roseanna, who also does the Titirangi market, it promises to be a great addition for those of us who live in Swanson, Bethells and anywhere within a stones throw of Swanson Road. It is just up the road from Slow Food's kitchen garden, so any chilldren or parents wanting to see what the Slow Food class had been up to - just ask anyone there and they will put you in touch with Karen who can show you. See you there.
