I really really really love Venice, I have written a few posts about it (here is
one), and my dream is to live there for a year (or more, or less... whatever time I am allowed!). Usually we do day trips as Venice is only 85 km from my Mum's town, but this time we spent three nights in the city, in the lovely and quiet area of
Cannaregio. We stayed in a
lovely B&B, but I will tell you more about it in the future, today I only have the time to post a few photos, mostly from a gondola (yes I admit it, I love gondolas too!) as we are off traveling again, slowly towards home... So I'll see you soon, and sorry again if I don't have enough internet connection these days to visit you all!

Gorgeous photos of which I am intensely jealous, both of your skill and that you are in Venice! But it's fun to see them and live vicariously, keep them coming!

ReplyDeleteI'm feeling very envious. I've never been to Venice, but I have always dreamed of going there one day, and imagine it to be a wonderfully romantic city. Your photos are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteSue xo
I think that you would love it Sue, I hope that you can make there one day, and FYI the guy that owns the B&B (the link is in the post) also teaches yoga, a Tibetan type!
DeleteOh, I want to go there more than ever now. Just checked out the B&B website - it looks wonderful, and it would be so good to go there and be able to practise yoga with someone. I obviously need to move a trip to Venice closer to the top of my "must-do" list.

Good morning Alessandra.
ReplyDeleteI'm here enjoying looking pictures of Italy. I've never been to Europe but I have the feeling Italy is one of the most beautiful places in the world. I hope one day I have a chance to visit. My husband's mother family is from Italy, from a small place near Naples, their last name is Saviano. I wish I could speak Italian.
Cheers
