Autumn Fruit Composition

The harvest continues on in other people's gardens :-). This time Catherine invited me to pick a few branches of persimmons and crab apples. The persimmons are still not ripe enough to eat, and my kitchen is still full of baskets of fruit anyway, so I made a display for the dining room table, considering that now there are not to many cutting flowers in the garden.

I could never thank Arfi enough for having showed me the use of Camera+ on the iPhone. You can transform photos in something that looks almost like a painting, and it is so much fun!

Sorry no recipe today, but sometimes I am just happy with the pleasure that I can get from a flower, pardon, fruit composition: it does wonders to a room, and to my mood :-).

  13. Sobha, not sure what I will do, probably just eat them as they are, like most of my fruit, but I have a nice recipe of Icy persimmons on my side bar: go to 'Cuisine on the net' and click 'Winter Desserts' to download the recipe.
